Mediation

Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach Counties, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Florida Mediation Attorneys

Family Law and Divorce Attorney Deborah Bianchi Tracht is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator.

Who is a Certified Mediator? A certified mediator is an individual who is “certified” and thus “licensed” by the Florida Supreme Court to act in an intermediate negotiation capacity for conflict resolution. In some types of cases, the mediator must also be an attorney.

A mediator's objective is to negotiate a fair and amicable divorce settlement between the two involved parties, ultimately reducing stress levels, saving time by speeding up the legal process, saving thousands of dollars in legal fees, and ultimately concluding with a win-win situation for all.

A mediator is NOT the attorney or representative for either side and therefore represents a neutral third party with unbiased involvement who cannot give either side legal advice. Equally, they cannot tell either party what to do during conflict resolution. A mediator is not like a judge deciding who is right and who is wrong with the authority of imposing a decision. Nor does a mediator act in the capacity of a jury.

Each party will have the opportunity to be heard and can more effectively communicate their concerns of the myriad of issues that arise in dissolving their relationship. A trained mediator brings creative thinking and innovative solutions to the case.
